Noted Virginia Wildflowers blogger Cynthia Wood will lead a walk along the Quarry Gardens’ main trail in search of Wood anemone, Pussytoes, Wild columbine, Green and gold, Dwarf larkspur, Wild geranium, Alumroot, Bluets, Dwarf crested iris, Golden ragwort, Native phlox, Mayapple, Solomon’s seal, Wild pink, Bladdernut, Spring beauty, Foamflower, Mountain and Perfoliated bellworts, Heartleaf, Golden alexanders—and many others.
The walk will be held unless there is heavy rain. (The plants glow and photograph beautifully in light rain or mist.)
As the event will be outdoors, masks are optional.
