Saturday afternoon trail walk

A brief introduction to the Quarry Gardens project in the Visitor Center followed by a guided tour of soapstone quarrying artifacts and native plant communities along the mail trail around the quarry pools.

In bloom: goldenrods, rabbit tobacco, lace grass, strawberry shrub, pink muhly grass, split beard bluestem, white snakeroot. In seed: Just about everything else.

Bring a lunch and enjoy it in our picnic pavilion. Masks optional.
