Saturday Workday for Volunteers

Emma Stephens of the Center for Urban Habitats will be here to help volunteers with spring clean-up of the QGs. The work will include cutting back winter thatch around the Visitor Center and the main trail loop, removing invasive plants and noting the condition of the natives. It’s an opportunity.to share good company while learning about native plants, restoration ecology, and maintenance.
Dress for the weather and bring gloves and your favorite hand pruners. You may come for all or part of the session. Snacks, water, and restrooms will be available in the Visitor Center. There will be lunch break from 12:30 to 1.
