Saturday Afternoon Trail Walk with Founder

The gardens are aglow with autumn’s goldenrods and asters. Acorns are falling, trees and shrubs are turning color. This walk will be led by one of the QGs co-founders, Armand or Bernice Thieblot. We’ll begin in the Visitor Center with an introduction to soapstone quarrying in Schuyler and the many ecosystems within the gardens, and continue with a walk along the main trail, through prairie, woodland, and wetland settings surrounding the quarries.
