Sunday morning trail walk

$5.00 – $10.00Following an introduction to the Quarry Gardens site and project in the Visitor Center, we will take a walk to see mining artifacts and plant communities along the main trails around the two quarry pools.
Among the plant communities, look for Upland ironweed, New England aster, Early goldenrods, Woolgrass, Joe Pye weed, Wild petunia, Partridge pea, Mistflower, Passionflower, Wild bergamot, Spotted beebalm, White water lily, Thoroughwort, Quill fameflower, Pickerelweed, four species of Mountainmint, and many others.
Bring a picnic and enjoy it in the pavilion.
