Trail Walk with Armand and Bernice

The Thieblots, co-owners of the Quarry Gardens, will lead this tour. In the Visitor Center, Armand will introduce the QGs project and the history of soapstone mining. Bernice will lead a walk along the main trail around the quarries. Among the plant communities, look for Upland ironweed, Purpletop, New England Aster, Early goldenrod, Woolgrass, Rose pink,  Wild petunia,  Partridge pea, Turtlehead, Mistflower, Passionflower, Cardinal flower,  Wild bergamot, Spotted beebalm, White water lily, Thoroughwort, Quill fameflower, Pickerelweed, four species of Mountainmint, and many others
